Job summary

NinjaOne in the United States is seeking a Staff C++ Software Engineer to advance our endpoint management suite. You will design and implement high-impact features that run on millions of endpoints and participate in architecture decisions with senior engineers.

In a fast-paced, customer-driven environment, you will mentor peers, review code for quality, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust patching capabilities across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of C++ development experience in modern C++ (C++17+).
• Cross-platform development experience (Windows/macOS/Linux) with Win32 API/POSIX.
• Familiarity with gRPC/Protocol Buffers and SQLite/embedded DB patterns.
• Experience with CMake and Qt; Vcpkg is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing code for correctness, maintainability, and architectural health.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on the team.
• Process implementation and improvement across the team.
• Cross-team collaboration with mainline, catalog, and patching squads.
• Ensuring product and customer needs are reflected in technical design.
• Other duties as needed.
