Job summary

Glocap is seeking a mid- to senior-level Software Infrastructure Engineer for a hedge fund-focused SaaS platform based in New York City. The role emphasizes backend development in C#, data processing, and AWS-based infrastructure for mission-critical cloud services.

You will work directly with hedge fund clients on integrations and deployments, helping scale the platform while maintaining reliability, security, and performance. A hybrid work arrangement is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on production C# development experience.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with AWS including EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, VPC, VPN, IAM.
• Experience in capital markets environments.
• Familiarity with financial systems, risk analytics, market data, or trading workflows is a plus.
• Hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in NYC office.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and components using C#, MS-SQL, and Aurora.
• Contribute to application codebases, including core business logic and data processing.
• Architect, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Work directly with hedge fund clients on technical integrations, deployments, and support.
• Participate in architectural discussions spanning application design, data storage, and cloud infrastructure.
