7Seventy in the United States is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure for a growing fintech platform. You will design and operate fast, safe pipelines, reproducible infrastructure, and cost management to support scalable delivery.

The role demands deep AWS expertise, strong IaC, CI/CD, observability, SLOs, and production incident processes, with a focus on regulated banking compliance and secure operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Experience as an early or solo infrastructure hire is strongly preferred.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and production Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Observability expertise including SLOs and incident response.
• Ability to operate in regulated environments with SOC 2/ISO 27001 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own the build, test, and deployment pipeline with progressive rollouts and rapid rollbacks.
• Ensure fully reproducible infrastructure environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Define and meet uptime targets for financial institution clients.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities.
• Mature the on-call process into a structured, repeatable operation.
• Implement change management, access controls, and audit logging for regulated requirements.
• Support SOC 2 compliance and bank due-diligence efforts with security collaboration.
• Own infrastructure cost management and cloud efficiency as the platform grows.
