Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and flow charts; MRP exposure.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of technical requirements and market conditions to negotiate best price while meeting specifications.
• Procure products within assigned commodity areas in a timely and cost-effective manner to support manufacturing.
• Evaluate supplier performance, including quality and on-time delivery; initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in production meetings and QBRs with key suppliers; contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
