Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Lead to drive supplier performance, cost reduction and risk mitigation for a site that manufactures circuit boards and electronic components.

You will translate broad commodity strategies into site plans, manage key suppliers, and lead negotiations with an emphasis on resilience and TCO. The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and requires leadership of cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and alignment with

Qualifications

Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS or equivalent aerospace standards.
Proven track record leading complex supplier negotiations and sizable spend.
Ability to assess spend, supplier performance, costs, and risks to shape sourcing actions.
Proven ability to influence across Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Quality without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute site-level sourcing plans aligned with enterprise commodity strategies.
Lead quarterly business reviews with critical suppliers and drive improvements in cost, delivery and quality.
Identify single-source risks, obsolescence, shortages and develop mitigation/alternative sourcing.
Lead the negotiation and management of LTAs, SLAs, pricing agreements within authority.
Coordinate with Operations, Planning, Engineering and Quality to meet production needs.
