You will lead sourcing efforts, solicit competitive bids, and ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and regulations. As a Senior Buyer, you will mentor Buyers and procurement staff, maintain accurate procurement records in MIT's ERP

Responsibilities

• Solicits and evaluates competitive bids, quotes, proposals, and supplier responses.
• Reviews requisitions and selects appropriate purchasing method per policy and thresholds.
• Develops sourcing strategies to achieve favorable pricing, terms, quality, and service levels.
• Maintains purchasing records and documents in ERP or procurement system; mentors buyers.
