Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with five plus years of related experience.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail in ordering supplies and components.
• Experience with procurement systems, preferably Deltek-Costpoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering staff.
• Obtain critical materials, components, equipment and services.
• Complete-check requisitions, obtain quotes, and make awards.
• Evaluate and negotiate vendor terms and pricing.
• Monitor vendor performance and develop new supply sources.
• Control and update pricing, cost and schedules.
• Maintain internal and external audit documents.
• Maintain professional supplier relationships.
