Qualifications

  • Proven ability to evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve purchasing, inventory, and delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Analyze purchasing data and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support initiatives to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to support informed decisions.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support strategic procurement activities, supplier relationships, and purchasing operations. This role will help ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet business requirements.

Position Responsibilities
Strategic Purchasing
  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Source materials, products, and services from qualified suppliers.
  • Evaluate pricing, quality, delivery schedules, and overall supplier performance.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve favorable purchasing outcomes.
Supplier Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and diversify the supplier base.
  • Support supplier evaluations and qualification activities.
Procurement Operations
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Monitor orders from placement through delivery to ensure requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve purchasing, inventory, and delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Cost & Process Improvement
  • Analyze purchasing data and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support initiatives designed to improve procurement efficiency and reduce overall costs.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
