Job summary

Inceed is partnering with a manufacturing client to recruit a Senior Buyer in Tulsa, OK. This role drives purchasing strategy, builds vendor relationships, and ensures timely sourcing of materials and equipment to sustain operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems; accountability and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing
• Experience supporting purchasing for equipment or HVAC products
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
• Ability to review product specifications and drawings
• Solid understanding of purchase orders and invoicing processes
• Experience with supply chain and inventory management
• Proficiency with procurement software or ERP systems
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders with accuracy and speed
• Verify requisitions and confirm department needs
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, terms, and delivery
• Evaluate supplier performance and compliance
• Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules
• Collaborate with teams to forecast demand and inventory
• Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
• Maintain purchasing records, reports, and filing systems
• Support junior purchasing team members when needed
