Twenty-Six Defense in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to provide strategic and operational leadership across all supply chain functions within the Warfighter Systems division. The role drives supplier strategy, capacity planning, and cross-functional integration to meet cost, schedule, and quality commitments for a rapidly scaling product portfolio.

The position requires 12+ years in supply chain or procurement in manufacturing, and 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of supply chain, procurement, or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years leading teams with demonstrated cross-functional influence.
• Strong understanding of supplier development, risk mitigation, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer a program of effective material procurement to provide all material, equipment, parts, assemblies, supplies and services.
• Direct the preparation, negotiation and administration of optimum subcontracts and supplier agreements.
• Assure accurate input and optimum quotations for business proposals by reviewing BOMs and selecting best vendors.
• Direct monitoring and audit of procurement functions to ensure compliance and timely status updates.
• Direct establishment and implementation of procurement policies and vendor relations/negotiations.
• Represent Twenty-Six Defense in negotiations with government or customers for material procurement.
• Assure adequate sources of supply considering new technologies, quality and delivery.
• Evaluate labor requirements and adjust staffing to meet schedules.
• Select, train, and develop subordinates; assign work for efficient utilization.
• Promote Lean and continuous improvement across supply chain processes.
