Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain with 3+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement or 5 years with an associate’s degree.
• Experience in a complex manufacturing environment; Aerospace/Defense experience preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement processes including PO placement and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a procurement leader representing supply chain within the organization.
• Create and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities/categories.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and risk reduction.
• Manage supplier performance, on-time delivery and quality metrics; escalate issues.
• Collaborate with planning, production and engineering to support component gating and kit releases.
