Moog Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Buyer/Planner for our Sunnyvale, CA operation. You will own material planning and end‑to‑end procurement for high‑mix aerospace programs, partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet cost, quality, and schedule commitments.

In this hands-on role, you will navigate ERP/MRP systems, manage supplier performance, and drive recovery plans when issues arise. This position reports to the Manager, Operations and is onsite in Sunnyvale.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of procurement/planning experience; OR an associate degree with 8+ years of experience; OR equivalent.
• ERP/MRP system experience to manage demand, POs, inventory, planning parameters, material shortages, and work orders in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of RFQs, bid evaluation, PO administration, supplier negotiations, price analysis, and supplier performance management.
• Ability to work from BOMs, drawings/specs, part revisions, and quality requirements with attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to organize, analyze, and communicate data clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions with incomplete information, meet commitments, escalate with a recommended action.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional supplier-management skills, and sense of urgency.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze program demand, bills of materials, inventory, and lead times to develop material and production plans.
• Maintain ERP/MRP planning parameters including lead times, order policies, lot sizes, minimums, and dates for parts and suppliers.
• Convert approved demand into purchase requisitions, POs, work orders, and kit requests.
• Create material-status, shortage, line-of-balance, and clear-to-build reporting with reliable dates.
• Expedite or reschedule supply to protect schedules while reducing excess inventory.
