Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia invites applications for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to steward the Student Financials and Financial Aid modules in PeopleSoft within UVA ITS. You will guide roadmaps, define enhancements, and serve as the main liaison to improve the experience for applicants, students, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years of PeopleSoft Student Financials and Financial Aid experience.
• Excellent project management, team-building, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial environment.
• Ability to adapt to rapid change and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to facilitate and lead meetings and work groups.
• Intermediate-level technical skills and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, analyze, and redesign existing business processes; develop and test solutions; troubleshoot complex issues; and provide training on new technologies.
• Support SIS security, efficiency, patches, and functionality for applicants, students, instructors, and staff.
• Resolve issues involving the student system and interfacing products; maintain system configuration and setup.
