Job summary

Duke University seeks a Senior IT Analyst to design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications within the enterprise Student Information Systems, collaborating with business analysts and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions in a dynamic higher‑education environment.

You will lead system improvements, support integrations with third‑party tools, mentor team members, and contribute to documentation and on‑call rotations to ensure reliable performance and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft systems or similar enterprise applications
  • Strong experience with requirements analysis, technical design, and system integration
  • Advanced SQL and database modeling experience
  • Experience troubleshooting, performance tuning, and managing system changes
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
