Job summary

New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association seeks a Business Systems Analyst to ensure operational efficacy of financial aid technology and to serve as a liaison between functional and IT teams. You will translate end-user needs into software requirements within a PeopleSoft environment.

The role focuses on workflow design, process documentation, and collaboration with internal/external partners to enhance system performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SQL and/or PS Query; data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience designing and documenting workflows.
• Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily Financial Aid System support, troubleshoot inquiries, and manage system setup and production issues.
• Maintain system security, configurations, and access controls.
• Ensure data integrity and QA standards; optimize PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
