Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst within the Health, State and Local Sector to lead evaluation, optimization, and transformation of enterprise business systems. You will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive complex initiatives from requirements to delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of BSA experience, strong SDLC and Agile/SAFe knowledge, and a proven ability to guide UAT, document complex flows, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of experience with BS/BA, or a High School diploma with 12 years of experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a history of leading large-scale or enterprise-level system implementations.
• Testing & UAT leadership: Define UAT strategies, write complex test scenarios, and lead cross-functional teams through validation and sign-off.
• SDLC methodologies: Extensive experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid environments.
• Advanced communication: Influence stakeholders and articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust and US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Requirements Leadership: Lead cross-functional requirements sessions and translate goals into specs.
• Process Transformation & Gap Analysis: Identify gaps and design future-state workflows.
• End-to-End Delivery & QA Oversight: Oversee testing, define UAT strategies, ensure alignment with requirements.
• Documentation Excellence & Mentorship: Create advanced user stories and diagrams; mentor junior analysts.
