Empower LLC is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to join our team in a dynamic, Agile environment. You will lead collaboration across cross-functional teams, translate business needs into clear user stories, and mentor junior analysts.

You will document requirements, create flow diagrams, and ensure alignment between stakeholders and developers to drive improvements in financial systems and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent technology industry background.
• Strong problem-solving skills with innovative, practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Experience collecting and managing system requirements from stakeholders.
• Familiarity with complex, multi-platform applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and provide technical guidance.
• Analyze and translate business needs into clear and concise user stories that align with project goals.
• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review story requirements and validate system functionality.
• Contribute to implementations, troubleshoot issues, conduct impact analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Review system enhancements with project stakeholders.
• Create flow diagrams and document technical solutions.
• Continuously learn and adapt to modern technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends in business analysis and Agile methodologies.
