Job summary

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Senior/Lead to represent IT project activities and document agency processes. The role leads projects and training, crafting requirements, specifications, and testing plans in collaboration with internal IT and business teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, 3 years of business systems analysis experience, and the ability to lead and deliver documentation and systems solutions across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS or IT-related field.
• Three (3) years of business systems analysis experience required.
• Other combinations of education or experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and define functional specifications.
• Learn and understand business practices to improve problem-solving.
• May lead a project team and direct technical resources.
• Develop work plans and monitor progress to success.
• Document data feed and system integration requirements.
• Work with developers/consultants to create system applications.
• Define processes and configuration as needed to meet business needs.
• Perform software testing and quality assurance.
• Develop reports and user manuals.
• Ensure data accuracy throughout project lifecycle.
