Job summary

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office seeks a Senior/Lead Business Systems Analyst to represent IT project activities, analyze agency business processes, and document system requirements. You’ll develop methodologies for gathering requirements, design definitions, and testing plans, working with internal IT and business groups to set short- and long-term system development paths.

Required is a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT and 3+ years in business systems analysis, with background checks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3 years of business systems analysis experience or equivalent.
• Experience in IT project lifecycle, requirements gathering, and testing plans.
• Background check required; FEMA NIMS training may be provided on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements; define functional specifications.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with developers, vendors, and Training Division.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, testing plans, and deployment guidelines.
• Create system configuration parameters and support data integration.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely communication with stakeholders.
