Job summary

The Pension Administration BSA 3 at University of California, Office of the President, is based in Oakland, CA with hybrid on-site work three days per week. The role applies broad business systems analysis to assess needs, document requirements, and resolve system issues within UC Retirement System.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to develop solutions, support testing, and improve ongoing operations to meet member service needs.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions.
• Strong skills and knowledge of methodologies related to analysis of processes and information flow.
• Understanding and ability to document requirements using Use Case, User Story and narrative descriptions.
• Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.
• Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• 25% Business and Systems Analysis - identify scope, objectives and requirements for pension and related systems.
• 25% Systems Specifications, Design, Testing - develop specifications, contribute to UI design, plan tests.
• 25% Business Process Improvement - analyze info to propose process improvements and gather sign-off.
• 25% Requirements, Application Support, Guidance - document requirements and train users on new apps.
