Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to support a large-scale pension administration system for a California public-sector client. The role is hybrid with on-site work in West Sacramento, CA, focusing on leading UAT efforts and developing test plans and cases.

You will manage defects, support releases, and collaborate with business and technical teams to maintain traceability from requirements to testing artifacts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Test Analyst.
• 7+ years producing requirements and testing deliverables.
• 3+ years with ALM tools such as Jama or HP ALM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAT strategies.
• Author and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Manage defect lifecycle and reporting.
• Support release and regression testing activities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Maintain traceability between requirements and testing artifacts.
• Participate in risk-based testing and quality reviews.
