Job summary

Artifintech is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to enhance commodity trade operations with strong business analysis and techno-functional support for SaaS and custom applications.

You will partner with Trading, Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, and IT to translate needs into clear requirements and drive delivery across the full project lifecycle. Experience with ETRM/CTRMs like ION XTP/Openlink is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst
• Experience in commodity trading and hedging environments
• Ability to translate complex needs into testable requirements
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for hedging and trade initiatives from discovery through stabilization and hypercare.
• Document current and future-state processes including maps, controls, handoffs, and exception handling.
• Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
• Partner with solution architects, product owners, and delivery teams to support design, configuration, and integrations.
• Identify data and reporting needs including P&L, settlements, and confirmations; align definitions and sources.
