Job summary

Ryan Specialty seeks a seasoned Business Systems Specialist (Contractor) to lead end-to-end analysis and design for Premium Accounting initiatives. You will own requirements, designs, and SDLC artifacts, collaborating with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable, automated improvements.

Application of advanced analytics and GenAI tools will accelerate documentation, testing support, and insight generation. Prior CBAP/CCBA/PMP certifications are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in business systems analysis or related field.
• Experience leading complex, multi-system initiatives.
• Exposure to financial, accounting, insurance, or transaction-based systems preferred.
• CBAP/CCBA/PMP or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and definition of complex business and system requirements for cross-functional initiatives.
• Translate business needs into functional designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data requirements.
• Own artifacts through the SDLC from discovery to stabilization.
• Serve as trusted advisor on system capabilities, constraints and options.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy and execution for complex initiatives.
