Alignment Health is seeking a Business Solutions Engineer to partner with leaders across operations, analyze processes, and design scalable technology solutions that improve performance and efficiency.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting workflows and data integrations, while ensuring governance, security, and measurable business value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in business systems, solution development, or related field.
• Experience designing and delivering production-ready business applications and workflows.
• Experience gathering requirements and delivering solutions from concept to production support.
• Familiarity with workflow, automation platforms, or low-code tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Power Platform, SharePoint, Salesforce).
• Experience with SQL, APIs, integrations, testing, and production support.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data structures, and governance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and operational teams to understand processes and define requirements.
• Analyze challenges and recommend solution-based improvements and technology options.
• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business solutions.
• Develop prototypes to validate requirements and feasibility.
• Create technical and functional documentation and ensure governance.
• Build integrations between systems and data sources via APIs and connectors.
• Develop workflows, forms, routing, approvals, and case management processes.
• Support adoption, training, and change management; monitor performance and outcomes.
