Job summary

UPMC Health Plan is seeking a Business Process Consultant II in the Business Performance Improvement department for a full-time hybrid role in the Pittsburgh area. The role plans, designs, and leads projects to improve processes and performance for the Insurances Services Division.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives, define business value, and guide collaborations with clinical and operational leaders to ensure measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and lead consulting projects to realize significant process and performance improvement for the Insurances Services Division.
• Define and communicate the value, scope, goals, methods, and project plans to achieve targets.
• Provide direction and accountability across a continuum of projects from departmental improvements to payer/provider collaborations.
• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to design and implement performance improvement projects in core processes.
• Develop business cases with forecasted performance and cost/benefit analyses to support recommendations.
• Define people, process, and technology impacts of organizational strategies and assess needs with clients.
• Lead cross-functional change management and communication strategies to inform and align stakeholders.
