Job summary

Truist is seeking a seasoned operations leader to partner with TD&O leadership to support strategic reporting, performance insights, and executive communications. You will translate complex information into concise narratives, coordinate governance, and guide initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness across technology and processes.

You will mentor junior staff, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining compliance and risk

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business operations or related professional roles.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes, technology applications, and operational management.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

  • Lead larger technology projects, coordinating operational activities for efficiency and alignment with objectives.
  • Identify, design, and implement process and technology improvements to enhance workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with technology strategies.
  • Analyze and report performance metrics to drive continuous improvements.
  • Execute operational technology strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Integrate innovative solutions to improve outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Drive strategic alignment and cost-optimization through external partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Communicate status, risks, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior team members.

Partner with senior leaders across Technology, Data and Operations (TD&O) to support strategic reporting, performance insights, executive communications, and leadership review processes. Translate complex operational and business information into concise narratives, presentations, and recommendations that support informed decision-making. Coordinate cross-functional inputs, support governance and planning routines, and communicate priorities, progress, challenges, and strategic objectives across a broad stakeholder community. Lead and support key initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, strengthen organizational alignment, and drive continuous improvement through technology and process innovation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Leads the execution of larger technology projects, coordinating operational activities to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Communicates operational status, risks, and improvement plans to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Provides coaching, guidance, and leadership to junior team members and supports their professional development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business operations or related professional roles.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes, technology applications, and operational management.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MBA or related advanced degree) preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams through business management, strategic planning, performance management, governance, or Chief of Staff-related functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex business, operational, technology, and data insights into concise executive communications, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Experience developing executive scorecards, KPI reporting, performance reviews, or Board and leadership materials.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
