Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group in Dallas seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to lead business and commercial litigation matters, including declaratory judgments, breach of contract, and related disputes. This role requires a strong litigator with a track record of high-quality advocacy.

You will advise on case strategy, draft pleadings, support trials, and mentor junior lawyers while maintaining client relationships and compliance with ethical standards.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas bar license.
• 7+ years of litigation experience, preferably business/commercial matters.
• Proven experience handling declaratory actions and related civil claims.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level legal advice and analysis in complex litigation matters.
• Offer strategic input on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Advise on declaratory judgment actions in state and federal courts.
• Handle declaratory relief matters and develop litigation strategies.
• Support trial teams with legal research, dispositive motions, and evidence analysis.
• Mentor and collaborate with partners to ensure quality legal services.
• Maintain regular client communication on case developments and risks.
• Ensure actions align with ethical rules, obligations, and compliance.
