The role requires a Texas-licensed attorney with substantial trial experience, the ability to work independently, and collaborative work with a litigations team in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license required.
• Admission to an additional state bar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage business and commercial litigation matters from case inception through resolution and trial.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and apply relevant law to complex factual issues.
• Analyze contracts, business records, financial documents, and other evidence.
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and evidence for hearings and trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and risks.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and litigation staff while maintaining ownership of assigned matters.
• Manage case deadlines, discovery, court filings, and other litigation requirements.
