Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team in a business litigation capacity. This role targets a skilled litigator with a strong background in declaratory judgments, breach of contract, tortious interference, and other commercial disputes.

You will provide high-level legal analysis, impact case strategies, and trial support across complex matters. A Texas bar license and 7+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active Texas bar license.
• 7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in business/commercial matters.
• Proven experience handling declaratory actions and related civil claims.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level legal advice and analysis in complex business litigation matters.
• Offer strategic input on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Advise on declaratory judgment actions, including initiating and defending such claims in state and federal courts.
• Support trial teams by assisting in legal research, drafting dispositive motions, and evaluating evidence and legal theories.
• Provide second-chair trial support or oversee specific phases of litigation as needed.
• Serve as a key legal advisor to firm clients, communicating case developments and risks.
• Mentor and collaborate with partners to share knowledge and best practices.
• Ensure ethical compliance and flag potential risks in ongoing matters.
