Bush & Bush Law Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join our fast-growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will handle complex business disputes from inception through trial and provide strategic input on case development.

Candidates should have a JD from an accredited law school, a Texas Bar license (preferred), and 3+ years of business or commercial litigation experience.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license preferred.
• 3+ years of business/commercial litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures in state and federal courts.
• Experience handling breach of contract, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, business torts, tortious interference, insurance disputes, and declaratory judgment actions.
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level legal advice and analysis in complex litigation matters, particularly business and commercial disputes.
• Offer strategic input on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Advise on declaratory judgment actions, including initiating and defending such claims in state and federal courts.
• Manage cases from pre-litigation through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct legal research and evaluate evidence and legal theories.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Provide second-chair trial support or oversee specific phases of litigation as needed.
