Job summary

BCLP in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Business Development Coordinator to join our Marketing and Business Development team. You will develop and deliver innovative, high-impact strategies to drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and raise the firm's profile across key practice areas, sectors, and regions.

You’ll work with lawyers and colleagues across offices, lead meetings, manage budgets, oversee RFPs and proposals, and contribute to events, content for pitches, and brand

Qualifications

• Degree educated; a marketing or business qualification preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in marketing or business development, ideally within professional services.
• Knowledge of Corporate, Finance & Transactions preferred, but not essential.
• Familiarization and active use of marketing tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement marketing and business development plans for key Corporate, Finance & Transactions Practice Groups.
• Liaise with lawyers, attending and leading meetings to identify opportunities to develop business.
• Support regional, practice, sector and client focus programs and cross-practice initiatives.
• Manage budgets and guidelines; oversee end-to-end RFPs and proposals.
• Produce and coordinate pitches, tracking success rates and competitive intelligence.
• Contribute to brand profiling projects, sponsorships, thought leadership, and campaigns.
• Support internal and external communications, including PR opportunities and social media.
