Job summary

Impact Recruitment Ltd seeks a Senior Business Development Specialist in Wallingford, CT to support the Program Management/Business Development team by coordinating daily workflows, tracking milestones, and maintaining program documentation.

You will process orders and RFPs, update SOPs, coordinate government and commercial contracts, help identify new opportunities, and assist with budgeting and forecasting for programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years promoting specialized Electrical Assemblies.
• Knowledge of Government contracts.
• Experience liaising with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direction.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Brief Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist who will support the Program Management/Business Development team by coordinating daily workflows , tracking cross-functional milestones, and maintaining program documentation .

Job Function

• Responsible for processing, distributing, and logging all new/change orders and RFPs in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain and update internal procedures as required for continuous improvement as well as establishing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Manage coordination of end customer/government and commercial orders/contracts. Knowledge of terms & conditions of the Commercial department upon receipt to ensure all information is accurate and acceptable
• Support business development efforts to generate new orders
• Actively engage our customers and Sales team (Manufacturers Representatives & Distributors) to identify new opportunities and future programs
• Support Business Development financial planning, budget & forecast based on customers’ existing /future programs projections
• Generate and distribute sales reports as required

Job Requirement
