Resolv Global is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with agency-side experience in medical communications or life sciences to drive new client acquisition across the U.S. pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.

You will win business from pharma/biotech clients, engage senior stakeholders in Medical Affairs and Medical Information, and develop opportunities through targeted outreach and industry networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development experience in medical communications or life sciences.
• Proven success generating and closing new B2B business with pharma/biotech clients.
• Direct experience engaging senior Medical Affairs/Medical Information stakeholders.
• Understanding of how pharma/biotech companies work with external agencies.
• Experience developing new accounts, especially with small/emerging pharma/biotech firms.
• Excellent consultative selling, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation and communication.
• Self-directed, commercially minded and capable of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and win new pharmaceutical/biotech clients for medical communications services.
• Build relationships with Heads, VPs, Directors and senior stakeholders in Medical Affairs and Medical Information.
• Develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking and in-person meetings.
• Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Understand client needs and position medical and scientific communications solutions accordingly.
• Represent the organization at relevant pharmaceutical and medical communications events.
