Resolv Global seeks an experienced Business Development Manager with agency-side experience in medical communications or life sciences to drive new client acquisition across the U.S. pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.

The role targets winning business from pharma/biotech clients for specialized medical communications services and requires engaging senior leaders in Medical Affairs and Medical Information.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development experience in medical communications or life sciences.
• Proven success generating and closing new B2B business with pharma/biotech clients.
• Direct experience engaging senior stakeholders in Medical Affairs and Medical Information.
• Strong understanding of how pharma/biotech partners work with external agencies.
• Experience developing new accounts, especially with small or mid-sized pharma/biotech companies.
• Excellent consultative selling, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-directed, commercially minded, and able to perform in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and win new pharmaceutical/biotech clients for medical communications services.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders (Heads/VPs/Directors) in Medical Affairs and Medical Information.
• Develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking and in-person meetings.
• Manage the full BD cycle from prospecting to proposals, negotiation and closing.
• Understand client needs and position medical/scientific communications solutions accordingly.
• Represent the organization at pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical communications events.
