Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a results-driven business development professional to lead identification and development of new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and expand our presence within the infrastructure and B2B sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership – develop and lead the execution of comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Market Expansion – identify and evaluate new business opportunities focusing on infrastructure and long-term growth sectors.
  • Sales Oversight – direct regional sales and client engagement initiatives to drive pipeline development and revenue generation.
  • Team Leadership – provide mentorship, performance management and strategic direction to business development teams.
  • Lead Generation – leverage data mining, networking and outbound prospecting to uncover and qualify new leads.
  • Client Engagement – consult with prospects, communicate value propositions and build trust with decision‑makers.
  • Pipeline Management – develop and manage a robust pipeline from initial contact through to close, ensuring seamless handoff to sales teams when appropriate.
  • Proposal & Contracting – oversee the preparation of proposals and lead contract negotiations to secure new business.
  • Market Intelligence – stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership or strategic partnerships preferably in B2B or infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation, deal structuring and closing complex partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, lead generation strategies and CRM tools.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing teams with a focus on accountability and results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgement and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and client acquisition strategies.
  • Highly self‑motivated, organized and driven to exceed goals.

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee will largely be sedentary, requiring use of a computer and telephone headset, and may be asked to move around the office, lift up to 40 pounds, and use office equipment.
