Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Business Development Manager to lead Tiger Health's commercial growth in the United States. The role is focused on developing strategic relationships with leading hospitals and health systems, building a qualified enterprise pipeline, and closing complex software and data-infrastructure deals.
The successful candidate will engage healthcare executives, pathology and imaging leaders, IT and infrastructure teams, and strategic technology partners. This senior role combines strategic market development with hands‑on sales execution and requires a strong commercial mindset, an established healthcare network, and the ability to translate complex infrastructure technology into clear clinical, operational, and financial value.
Location and Territory
Preferred location: Boston metropolitan area, including Boston, Cambridge, Waltham, or Lexington. Exceptional candidates based in New York, New Jersey, or Philadelphia may also be considered if they bring a demonstrably stronger network within major US hospitals and health systems.
Initial territory: New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and selected strategic accounts in Ohio. The role will initially focus on the Boston–New York–Philadelphia–Pittsburgh–Cleveland corridor.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify, develop, and close enterprise opportunities with leading US hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and diagnostic organizations.
- Strategic Account Development: Build long‑term, multilevel relationships with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise‑imaging leaders, pathology executives, cloud and infrastructure teams, procurement stakeholders, and other senior decision‑makers.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities related to digital pathology, enterprise imaging, hybrid cloud, medical‑data lifecycle management, storage modernization, and AI readiness.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve quarterly and annual commercial targets by closing new enterprise customers and expanding existing deployments across hospitals, departments, and healthcare data types.
- Opportunity Qualification: Evaluate each organization's imaging workflows, data volumes, storage architecture, retention requirements, resilience needs, cloud strategy, procurement process, and available budget.
- Solution Development: Work with product and technical teams to shape solutions that address the customer's infrastructure environment, operational priorities, and business requirements.
- Enterprise Deal Management: Lead complex, multistakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement and discovery through technical evaluation, business‑case development, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.
- Value-Based Selling: Translate Tiger Health's capabilities into measurable value, including lower storage costs, improved data accessibility, infrastructure resilience, simplified data lifecycle management, and readiness for AI adoption.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, and enterprise agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Account Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand initial deployments across additional hospitals, pathology laboratories, imaging departments, and enterprise data environments.
- Partnership Development: Establish and grow relationships with digital pathology vendors, enterprise‑imaging providers, cloud platforms, storage partners, systems integrators, and healthcare technology consultants.
- Market Expansion: Contribute to Tiger Health's US go‑to‑market strategy by monitoring hospital investment priorities, digital pathology adoption, enterprise‑imaging modernization, competitive developments, and healthcare AI infrastructure requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing, and executive leadership to coordinate account strategy, outreach, technical discovery, proposals, demonstrations, and customer engagement.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and pipeline information in the CRM and provide regular, reliable sales forecasts to leadership.
- Industry Representation: Represent Tiger Health at hospital meetings, executive discussions, partner engagements, and digital pathology, enterprise imaging, and healthcare IT conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, healthcare, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise business development, enterprise software sales, infrastructure sales, or strategic account management.
- Proven experience selling complex technology solutions to US hospitals, health systems, or healthcare delivery organizations.
- Strong network within healthcare IT, enterprise software, medical imaging, digital pathology, cloud infrastructure, or healthcare data management.
- Demonstrated ability to build a qualified pipeline and close complex, high‑value enterprise deals.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of multistakeholder healthcare purchasing processes involving clinical, technical, financial, security, legal, and procurement teams.
- Ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts clearly to executive, clinical, and technical audiences.
- Strong discovery, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Experience managing long sales cycles, technical evaluations, pilots, and enterprise contracting.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud, storage infrastructure, data lifecycle management, PACS, VNA, DICOM, digital pathology, or whole‑slide imaging is a strong advantage.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings, partner discussions, and industry events.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has an established network within major US hospitals and health systems and understands how enterprise healthcare technology decisions are made. They can navigate complex buying centers, engage both executive and technical stakeholders, develop internal champions, align clinical and IT priorities, and build a credible financial and operational business case. They are comfortable opening new accounts personally, building a market from the ground up, and taking direct responsibility for pipeline quality, account progression, and commercial results.
