Business Development Manager / Senior Manager – Private Capital & Life Sciences

Boston - 3 Days per week in office, 2 remote

We are partnering with a leading international law firm to appoint a Business Development Manager/Senior Manager for its growing Boston platform. This is a high-profile opportunity to help shape commercial strategy across Private Capital and Life Sciences, two areas central to the firm’s US growth agenda.

Working closely with senior partners and a sophisticated global BD function, you’ll combine strategic planning with hands‑on client and market development.

Key areas of focus include:

• Developing growth plans across private equity, venture/growth capital and life sciences
• Identifying priority clients, prospects and emerging market opportunities
• Driving targeting, key-client and cross‑selling initiatives
• Leading pitches, proposals and other strategically important pursuits
• Using market intelligence and CRM data to strengthen pipeline development
• Delivering campaigns, thought leadership and targeted client programmes
• Acting as a trusted BD advisor to senior stakeholders across the US and internationally
