Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence in the United States seeks a Business Development professional for North America to drive revenue and growth across fixed income services. You will partner with clients to shape product direction, plan for expansion, and execute on innovative ideas with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Managing client relationships to grow revenue year over year.
• 5+ years of experience in fixed income markets.
• Collaborative team player who earns trust with product managers and sales teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for complex commercial discussions.
• Self-driven, energetic and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business/finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team’s market-facing interactions to drive product awareness and revenue across Fixed Income.
• Develop and execute business plans and sales campaigns to increase market share.
• Outreach to clients/prospects via meetings, seminars, conferences, webinars.
• Collaborate with sales on product commercialization and licensing structures.
• Engage in thought leadership through industry publications and blogs.
• Perform competitor analysis to position the firm effectively.
• Participate in sales conferences and client entertainment to maximize revenue and retention.
