BNY Mellon is seeking a dynamic Head of Fixed Income Strategy & Advisor Enablement to lead the strategy, positioning, and engagement around fixed income solutions for wealth clients.

This leader will be a senior fixed income expert, shaping market views, portfolio construction insights, and client engagement across advisors and partners. Role requires travel and collaboration across investments, product, distribution, and leadership to grow the fixed income business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in fixed income investing in wealth/advisory settings.
• Prior fixed income portfolio management or investment decision-making experience.
• Strong commercial orientation with ability to influence and sell ideas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high EQ.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior fixed income SME for BNY Wealth, with deep knowledge of bond markets and portfolio applications.
• Partner with field leadership and advisors to support fixed income strategy, business development, and client opportunities.
• Act as a credible, market-facing representative to sell fixed income ideas, solutions, and capabilities.
• Translate market developments and macro trends into actionable perspectives for advisors and clients.
• Support advisors in identifying client needs and positioning fixed income solutions across portfolios.
• Collaborate with investments, product, distribution, and leadership to shape the fixed income offering and go-to-market.
• Deliver presentations and represent BNY Wealth in advisor, client, and industry settings.
• Travel as needed to meet with advisors, clients, and partners across markets.
• Provide insight into fixed income portfolio construction and risk management based on prior hands-on experience.
