Social Capital Resources seeks an experienced Head of Fixed Income Operations to lead a team supporting a broad fixed income trading platform in New York. The role combines people leadership with hands-on operational oversight across post-trade processes, settlements, and controls.

You will partner with trading, technology and compliance to drive workflow improvements, manage vendor relationships, and implement new products and initiatives while ensuring regulatory alignment and a scalable

Competenze

• 10+ years of financial services experience with a strong background in Fixed Income Operations.
• Experience managing and developing an operations team.
• Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle for corporate bonds and U.S. Treasuries.
• Experience supporting repo, securities financing and/or fixed income prime brokerage is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of clearing, settlements, trade breaks, fails and post-trade controls.
• Familiarity with DTCC/FICC, Fedwire and institutional settlement processes.
• Experience working with fixed income trading and operations platforms; exposure to systems such as Broadridge, Pershing, Bloomberg is preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory trade reporting and broker-dealer operational requirements.
• FINRA Series 99 preferred or willingness to obtain as required.

• Lead and develop a team responsible for fixed income trade support and post-trade operations.
• Oversee daily processing and lifecycle management across corporate bonds, U.S. Treasuries, repo and related fixed income products.
• Partner with trading and other front-office teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.
• Manage escalations involving trade breaks, failed settlements, allocations and other post-trade exceptions.
• Oversee settlement, clearing and securities financing processes.
• Support fixed income prime brokerage and customer clearing activity.
• Maintain operational controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation.
• Manage relationships with third-party technology and service providers.
• Support the implementation of new products, workflows, systems and initiatives.
• Ensure processes align with regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Develop procedures, controls and reporting for a scalable and well-controlled operating environment.
• Serve as senior point of contact for fixed income operational matters across the organization.
