Job summary

Alliant Credit Union, based in Chicago, seeks a senior leader to drive organizational resilience through the Business Continuity Program (BCP). You will lead the second line of defense, ensure BCP alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and serve as on-call for incidents.

You will oversee BIA and recovery plan development, incident response, and disaster recovery governance, coordinating with technology and business lines to drive BCP maturity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum 10 years in business continuity, incident response, disaster recovery or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of BIA and recovery plans.
• Drive alignment of DR and BCP with regulatory expectations.
• Oversee incident response, guiding executive teams through complex scenarios.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with technology to ensure resilience of critical processes.
• Coordinate test scripts and reporting for critical business processes.
• Present monthly risk metrics to executive committees and governance bodies.
• Represent the organization in regulatory and audit discussions for BCP.
• Stay updated on evolving BCP standards and regulatory expectations.
