Job summary

KeyBank is seeking an experienced Business Banking Relationship Manager to grow and manage client portfolios, educate clients on core banking solutions, and lead cross-functional responses to complex requests. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years of related job experience (required).
• Business Banking RM: minimum 3 years' experience in a small business/commercial lending environment (required).
• Business Banking RM: minimum 1 year of experience in cross-selling products and meeting aggressive sales goals (required).
• Senior Business Banking RM: minimum 5 years' experience in Small Business or Business Banking direct lending or related experience.
• Senior Business Banking RM: credit training and experience from a bank or financial institution (required).

Responsibilities

• Serve as relationship manager and financial advisor to business banking clients.
• Introduce core Business Banking products and comprehensive solutions.
• Acquire new relationships and manage existing client relationships.
• Act as trusted financial advisor and primary contact.
• Drive growth through understanding client businesses, industries, and trends.
• Educate clients on cash management, payments, and equipment finance.
• Assemble cross-functional teams to respond to client requests and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Lead credit processes, including underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management.
• Maintain accountability for portfolio activities and asset quality.
• Comply with risk culture and regulatory standards.
