Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain seeks a Business Applications Advisor to partner with business and IT teams, gather requirements, and lead major projects. You will configure WMS/OMS/TMS workflows, build KPI dashboards, and mentor less senior staff.

You will work across Sterling WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms, deliver data-driven insights, and ensure seamless system integration with ERP ecosystems in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS/IS or related field; equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Manhattan WMOS WMS systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving to meet SLAs in business operations.
• Clear communication in distributed teams with proactive updates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, technical and operational.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux servers and Oracle databases is a plus.
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments; Oracle SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Sterling WMS — Support, configure, and troubleshoot warehouse workflows and integrations across receiving, picking, replenishment, and shipping.
• OMS — Configure and support sourcing, allocation, order routing, and exception-handling rules across the full order lifecycle.
• TMS — Configure and maintain carrier selection, rate management, tendering, and shipment execution workflows.
• Analytics & Reporting — Build interactive Spotfire and Power BI dashboards for KPI tracking and executive reporting.
• Hands-on configuration of Manhattan WMOS WMS systems.
• Participate in all phases of implementation and production support of multi-technology systems.
• Gather requirements and design accurate, efficient solutions.
• Develop and update strategies, methodologies, and standards for supply chain systems.
• Provide 24/7/365 coverage via on-call rotation.
• Travel for projects as required.
