Qualifications

• Business Analyst Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience
• 4+ years relevant experience (7+ without degree)
• Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Oracle, or QlikView preferred
• Ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines
• Advanced Business Analyst Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree or certification a plus
• 7+ years relevant experience (10+ without degree)
• Demonstrated experience in analysis, forecasting, and process improvements
• Greater independence and leadership in responsibilities
• Senior Business Analyst Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree or certification a plus
• 10+ years relevant experience (13+ without degree)
• Proven expertise in complex analysis, portfolio oversight, and process optimization
• High level of independence, leadership, and strategic contribution

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and sequence capital projects that align with FirstEnergy's objectives
• Oversee the current-year portfolio to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery
• Maintain an accurate view of capital expenditures and update forecasts
• Process Joint Use attachment projects to maximize cost recovery
• Coordinate with Legal, Supply Chain, and State Engineering for reimbursement projects
• Develop and maintain reports and metrics for tickets, performance and risk
• Develop and maintain financial and operational reports using Power BI, QlikView, TOAD Data Point, and MS Office
• Support executive-level presentations and translate data into insights
• Utilize SAP, CREWS, SPANS and OPPM to generate reports and improve processes
• Provide analytical support for planning, estimating, forecasting, and decision-making
• Assist in monitoring scope, budgets, and schedules
• Execute ad hoc reports for Utility Coordination
• Assist in invoicing processes
• Storm support during events including off-hours
