FirstEnergy Corp. is hiring for an Analyst level role within the DPUC department. The position focuses on forecasting, reporting, and data analytics to support capital projects and regulatory objectives.

You will work with SAP, Sage, Navigator, and other reporting tools while partnering with Legal, Supply Chain, and State Engineering to ensure timely, accurate information. The role demands a strong foundation in finance or engineering, with 4+ years of relevant experience and excellent

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience.
• Experience in risk management, program management, change management or other strategic project leadership roles.
• Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to create presentations for all audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate financial and operational reports using Power BI, QlikView, TOAD Data Point, and Microsoft Office.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity through regular validation and updates.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and ensure consistent processes.
• Serve as a liaison to facilitate clear communication across teams.
• Executive reporting: translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Utilize systems such as SAP, Sage, Navigator, HVK, OPPM, Ecosys, Unifier for reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and reporting automation.
• Analytical support for project planning, estimating, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Assist in monitoring project scope, estimates, budget, and schedule performance.
• Forecast Utility Coordination's Joint Use budgets.
• Storm support during restoration events.
