Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp in the United States is seeking a Distribution Portfolio & Utility Coordination Analyst to help manage capital projects and Joint Use attachments. Qualifications

• Business Analyst Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience
• 4+ years relevant experience (7+ without degree)
• Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Oracle, or QlikView preferred
• Ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines
• Advanced Business Analyst Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree or certification a plus
• 7+ years relevant experience (10+ without degree)
• Greater independence and leadership in responsibilities
• Senior Business Analyst Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree or certification a plus
• 10+ years relevant experience (13+ without degree)
• Proven expertise in complex analysis, portfolio oversight, and process optimization
• High level of independence, leadership, and strategic contribution

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and sequence capital projects that align with FirstEnergy's objectives
• Oversee the current-year portfolio to ensure projects are delivered on time, scope, and budget
• Maintain accurate capital expenditure forecasts and update plans
• Receive, evaluate, and process Joint Use attachments from start to finish for regulatory objectives
• Coordinate with Legal, Supply Chain, and State Engineering to prepare agreement packages
• Develop and maintain reports and metrics for late tickets, on-time performance, and ticket volume
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and risk analysis for the portfolio
• Assist invoicing processes and storm restoration support
