Job summary

WaTech is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive complex business analysis for the Workers’ Compensation Systems Modernization program. You will gather requirements, map processes, and align system capabilities with future-state needs in a state government context.

The role requires strong modeling, data mapping, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in dashboards and cross-program collaboration. Telework is approved with onsite needs in Olympia, WA.

Qualifications

10 years of IT-related experience performing business analysis across multiple functions.
Experience in elicitation, tracking, and documentation of requirements and processes.
Experience leading meetings and translating technical information for business audiences.

Responsibilities

Plan, facilitate, and execute complex business analysis functions including requirements gathering and data mapping.
Lead cross-program process mapping to support workflow redesign and modernization.
Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.
Translate complex concepts into actionable information for business stakeholders.
Prepare dashboards and reports to convey progress, risks, and impacts.
Mentor junior BAs and coordinate cross-program meetings.
