Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in the Baltimore area seeks a Senior Business Analyst to identify, document, and implement business and system requirements for Provider Data Management and related healthcare provider systems, leveraging the Salesforce-based PDMES application.

You will partner with stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional specs, support testing and deployments, and drive process improvements while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of related work experience required
• 5 years progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing or other analytical experience

Responsibilities

• Interprets business needs and gathers, analyzes, documents, validates, and prioritizes requirements for Provider Data Management initiatives.
• Coordinates system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for enhancements and releases; supports planning, defect triage and implementation.
• Researches and resolves moderate to complex business and provider data issues with partners and technical teams; supports root-cause analysis and data validation.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive business and technical documentation, including requirements, user stories, flows, logs, and procedures.
• Monitors planning-to-implementation work, manages priorities, risks, dependencies, and provides status updates; supports Agile ceremonies and release planning.
• Answers policy-related questions requiring internal and external consultation.
