Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst to lead the capture and documentation of software requirements for federal health IT initiatives. You will collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to elicit, elaborate, and manage requirements in ALM tools and ensure traceability from user stories to acceptance criteria.

You will perform backlog refinement, coordinate with Systems Engineers, and support change control processes across SAFe-managed programs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a strong background in software development and SAFe methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Very strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using MS Office, including Excel, for analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Agile software development and data integration projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to elaborate and document requirements in an ALM tool.
• Manage requirements in an ALM tool.
• Perform Agile requirement management for a product team.
• Analyze user needs to determine functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and specifications.
• Gather and document requirements from customers, team members, stakeholders, and other contractors.
• Elaborate user stories and decompose into backlog items with acceptance criteria.
• Use ALM tools (JIRA) for requirements, testing, and defect management.
