Job summary

FastTek Global seeks a Business Analyst 5 to support the Department of Natural Resources via DTMB Agency Services. You will bridge DTMB with project stakeholders, model processes, elicit requirements, and help shape strategy for a public-facing burn permit app in Michigan.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration with senior leadership, and adaptability within a fast-paced, government-focused environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of business process review and requirements elicitation.
5+ years developing/managing user stories in Agile projects.
2+ years facilitating discussions with senior management for strategy/roadmaps.
2+ years developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial.

Responsibilities

Liaison between DTMB and project stakeholders.
Provide expert facilitation, elicitation and process modeling to develop strategy and requirements for public-facing burn permit application.
Contribute to the DTMB Agency Services BA team and related work requests for DNR/EGLE.
Champion customer service and assist agency compliance with DTMB policies.
Rapidly learn applicable constraints and help DNR navigate them for project success.
Be self-directed, organized, and adaptable to changing needs.
